Goodwill Industries Thrift Store can be found at 1600 Valley West Dr. in West Des Moines, Iowa. Goodwill stores sell donated goods to pay for job training and employment programs in their region. It is in Polk County. Its stock covers clothing, furniture, antiques, home goods and collectibles. Its posted hours cover all seven days of the week. Giving and buying both help here, since donations stock the shelves and sales fund the mission. Donated stock turns over steadily, so a quick look on a regular basis pays off.
