Vacaville's Savers is a for-profit thrift store and donation center that sells secondhand clothing for the whole family, along with dinnerware, accessories, books, housewares and electronics. Shopping here doesn't benefit any charity. Donations do, because Savers pays its local nonprofit partner for the goods dropped off. Tuesday is Senior Tuesday, with a discount for shoppers 55 and older, and members of the Super Savers Club get access to members-only sales.
The donation center accepts clothing and shoes, backpacks and purses, bed and bath items, books and media, games and toys, housewares, electronics, small appliances, small furniture, and exercise and sporting goods. The store is open seven days a week, with evening hours every day. Big red letters reading "Thrift Superstore" sit across its white front, and a green Donation sign marks the drop-off entrance beside it.
